Introduction:
The range of Anti-slip self-adhesive grip tape has the highest possible safety rating and is particularly suitable for both internal & external applications. Used extensively on steps, stairways and ramps the product exceeds the requirements of the Australia/New Zealand Standards for anti-slip AS4586:2013 Appendix ‘A’. Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials and the National Construction code. Slip tests carried out under AS4586:2013 had a BPN average Reading of 83 and Slip resistance Classification P5

Compliance:
The Luminous Anti Slip Tapes comply with the following standards;
- National Construction Code o Section D2.13 o Section D3.3
- Australian/New Zealand Standards AS1428.1 – 2009 Design for access and mobility
- Each step shall have a strip not less than 50mm and not more than 75mm deep across the full width of the path of travel. The strip may be set back a maximum of 15mm from the front of the step. The strip shall have a minimum luminance contrast of 30% to the background.
