The Shower sealer will retain its final molecular structure and water-repellency within the impregnated zone and not deteriorate due to faulty formulation and/or manufacture for a period, not less than 10 years from the date of application, provided that:
● The application is in strict accordance with the product data sheet/instructions on the pack/website
and use specifications documented regarding the product, application, substrate condition and coverage rates as detailed for the product.
● The substrate on which the product is applied maintains a standard and fitness meeting all statutory
requirements, building code standards, having suffered no deterioration leading to premature product
failure. The tiles or grout do not contain polymers or resins.
● The substrate has been sufficiently coated with the product to allow maximum absorption into the
substrate. ‘Sufficiently coated’ is considered to be at minimum, the coverage rate of the product
according to product specifications.
Fill the Gaps shall not be liable under this warranty for any damage/claim (whole or part
thereof) arising from any failure of the product caused by:
● Hydrostatic pressure, setting, movement, cracking, lifting, peeling, flaking or failure of the substrate
or previous surface treatment, corrosion, ingress of water behind the impregnated zone, ingress of
other contaminants, maltreatment, excessive wear/tear, application, faulty design and/or
construction of the building or any other element otherwise outside the control of the Fill the Gaps.
Subject to all statutory rights the purchaser may have, the Fill the Gaps will not be liable for
any incidental or consequential loss resulting from any defect of the product. The purchaser shall give written notice of any claims pursuant to the warranty within fourteen (14) days of any defect coming to the notice of the purchaser. Where the product is deemed defective, the Manufacturer via Fill the Gaps shall make available all surface impregnant material required to reinstate the system free of cost.
The Manufacturer via Fill the Gaps will warranty as per the above conditions for a period of 10 years.
Fill the Gaps will warranty as above for Installation related defects within 12 months from installation.
